Nolvadex is an antineoplastic agent used for oral therapy of early breast cancer in men and women. Nolvadex demonstrates the most evident effect in treatment of estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer. Besides, Nolvadex can be indicated for adjuvant therapy of axillary node-negative breast cancer and node-positive breast cancer in women, following:

• breast cancer radiation therapy
• axillary lymph node dissection (ALND)
• partially or completely removal of the breast

The most evident effect Nolvadex demonstrates in women with 4 or more armpit lymph nodes. Clinical studies have proved that Nolvadex significantly reduces the risk of invasive breast cancer in women with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), and helps reduce the risk of breast cancer in all groups of patients.

Daily dosages of Nolvadex may vary from 20 to 40mg. Duration of the antineoplastic therapy with Nolvadex can be up to five years.

Missed Dose

If you remembered you had missed a dose of Nolvadex, take it as soon as possible. Skip the forgotten dose of this hormonal anticancer medicine if it is almost time for the next tablet.

Nolvadex tablets can be indicated to premenopausal women with metastatic or locally advanced breast cancer as an alternative to ovarian irradiation, or instead of surgical removal of an ovary.

Storage

Warnings
